Is there a way to attach a script to BBEdit such that any time a file is opened, the script is executed?
I've tried using a Menu Script and attaching it to the File > Open menu item, and this works as far as it goes, but it doesn't handle every means of opening a file (opening counterparts, opening hidden files, opening by double-clicking or drag-and-drop from the Desktop, etc.). What I'd like is some means of having my script run whenever a new document is opened.
