For some reason, I am getting the following error while using BBEdit version 9.0.1, running Mac OS X 10.5.5:
You do not have sufficient privileges to perform this operation (MacOS Error code: -5000)
I get this error about every 10-60 seconds. I can hit "ok", and it goes away, only to reappear later.
I am guessing that this error is related to auto-saving, or it has something to do with a temporary directory, and the permissions are not set properly.
I tried to uncheck this setting in the preferences, but that didn't help:
Automatically refresh documents as they change on disk
Any ideas will be appreciated. Needless to say, productivity is way down with this error...
Thanks,
Tony
