I've only tried Multi-File Search twice since upgrading to BBEdit 9 (I'm running 9.0.1); it has failed both times.
I have seven HTML documents open. Each one contains exactly one instance of the string "header_adv.jpg". I'm searching those open documents, with Grep enabled, for the string "header_adv\.jpg".
The search result is always the same - the pattern was not found.
If I use the single-file Find command, it works fine.
(I've done a LOT of single- and multi-file searching, using Grep patterns, in previous versions, so I'm mostly sure I'm not making a dumb mistake).
Any ideas?
Thanks, Jim
