I have a task where I need to clean-up a bunch of sql files, removing odd characters from them. BBedit gives up on me, for files that are to big, since it tries to do it in memory.
I need to remove characters like x00 and x0B, that were entered in a Mac application.
I tried something like this, but that doesn't work.
sed 's/\x00//' ~Desktop/mies.txt > ~/Desktop/poes.txt
Any insight welcome!
