Save a series of GREP search/replace as macro?
I am trying to find a way to run a series of GREP search and replace routines. Is this what Scripts are for? If so, is there a sample of a simple GREP search and replace that I can learn from? (I am not asking about how to do GREP, but to save the GREP search/replaces inside BBEdit.)
For example, I want to find "^(.+?)\t.+?\r" and replace it with "\1\r". How would I do save that in a script?
The issue is that I have hundreds of pages of text to manipulate, but because each one may be a little different I don't want to batch a GREP change on all of them, but basically I need to run the same set of search and replaces on all of them one by one.
Thanks for your help.
Bill
