I am a frequent user of the various "diff" tools in BBEdit.
To speed things up, I tend to avoid the dialog with dropdowns for files and instead open just two files, at a time, and select the option for comparing the two front documents.
However, this is grayed out when the valid input of two documents are open along with the scratchpad.
I already tested if the intent is to run a diff on a single file against the scratchpad, but this is not the case.
The menu is still grayed out with a single file and the scratchpad open.
I hope BB will consider flagging the scratchpad somehow to avoid this inconsistency.
