As usual, grep beyond the most basic defeats me. I must suffer from dysgrepia.
I use the following little thing to add BR tags to the end of lines I've selected... Find: \r Replace: <br />\r ....with "Selected text only" checked.
Even I can do that. ;-)
I use this for poems where I define stanzas using P tags and blank lines. Which means I end up selecting the first to second-last lines of each stanza, click the Find dialog to bring it to front, click Replace all, click the main window, select another stanza, etc.
It would be extremely helpful if I could select the entire poem, top to bottom and do this replace once. But of course, doing that with my current pattern means I end up having to delete extraneous BR tags. So to my question...
How can the Find/Replace pattern be improved so it skips over blank lines and any line ending in </p>?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
