multi-file search on my website gives me an error
I have to search through hundreds of my website files for a particular text pattern (I've been hacked) and I thought that bbedit 8.2.5 could do this but every time I try a multi-file search I get the error message: "This Apple Event was unknown to the recipient and could not be processed (MacOS Error code: -1708)"
I would presume that it has something to do with setting up the HTML Web Sites in the Preferences but I don't understand that setup procedure. There are 4, maybe 5, pertinent fields given that I'm not on a local server, instead accessing through Fetch (Mac FTP program).
Not finding anything useful either in manual or googling.
Site Name: [I presume this is the name I give the site, that will show up in the Multi-file drawer]
Web Server Name: [Is this http://www.sitename.com? If so, does it matter that since I'm still developing I have the site mirrored to a subdomain of my host (sitename.dreamhosters.com)?
Site Path on Server: [???]
Default Page Name: [???]
Local Site Root: [I presume I don't need this?]
Look for Templates and Includes in: [???]
Local Preview Server - guessing I don't need this either.
