IÂ’m not sure when, but BBEdit has started to repopulate ~/Library/ Application Support/BBEdit/Clippings with a complete range of clipping sets. This is not benign behaviour: it is interfering with my own organizational scheme for clippings, which IÂ’ve had for years, and (worse) messing with clipping set selection. For instance, I keep losing my clipping shortcuts, because instead of auto-selecting my usual clipping sets to match the document language, BBEdit is selecting the default clipping set instead. Very frustrating!
Strangest of all is that I donÂ’t know why this would have started. Seems like things went off the rails with my clippings sometime in the last few days ... but I havenÂ’t updated BBEdit recently.
Anybody have any idea whatÂ’s going on and how to stop BBEdit from re- populating that folder?
