request: better CSS syntax coloring via new Language Module
Hi everyone:
Wouldn't it be possible to improve syntax coloring in BBEdit by remapping all CSS files to a custom-made CSS Language Module?
When I say improve, I mean coming to par with the way Komodo Edit displays CSS. Here's a screenshot ('Underwater' color theme): http://radhanathswamiaudio.com/komodo_css.png
Isn't that nice? I like how the .class and #id names are distinguished from the <div> tag, and also differentiated from one another.
BBEdit is pretty ho-hum in comparison, here's the closest I could get to duplicating this look: http://radhanathswamiaudio.com/bbedit_css.png
However, wouldn't it be possible to emulate Komodo by writing a new Codeless Language Module? I suppose you could specify in GREP what counts as a tag, class identifier and so on, then associate each one to a particular color.
I have neither the experience nor the ability, but perhaps there's someone out there who does, or can at least comment on whether this is a feasible project or not. What do you think?
Thanks, -JP
