I often open a directory from the command line (bbedit .) to try to search the contents of this directory. This works perfectly fine in TextMate as it restricts the search to my newly open "window" after I select a file in it.
BBEdit seems to require me to hunt for the folder I just opened in the "Search in" list. Is there a way to make BBEdit automatically restrict the search to my newly open folder?
The only easy way to do this that I found is to open the parent folder of the folder I really want (bbedit ..) and then drag the folder into the multi file search dialog every time.
There's gotta be an easier way!!!
Thanks, Joel
